"Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, Thou art very great; Thou art clothed with hounour
and majesty. Who covers Thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the
heavens like a curtain."
Psalm 104:1, 2
Time and again God offers us signs of His power and wonder. If we will just keep our eyes
open, the truth of God's existence will present itself over and over. God gives graciously
to His children. Relax and enjoy the show that God puts on. It is nothing less than perfection.
Do not let me turn blind eyes to the beauty of Your world, Lord. Throughout Your creation
is Your signature. I cannot doubt Your existence in a world of such amazing splendor.
Father, please help me to see Your beauty beyond my difficulties in Jesus' name, Amen.
I have run into several people that have lost children under horrific circumstances and have come to understand that the divorce rate in these situations is astronomical which breaks my heart. I pray for all those that have children in pain or have lost them and ask God to watch over you and bless you ways you don't expect. Let them put their faith and burdens into God and allow him to carry them through and bring them peace.
I lift up all these requests and ask that the God of all Glory will make His face to shine on all who in sincerity of heart visit this thread and make their requests known unto the Lord. May He hear from His throne in Heaven and shower blessings, power, and reconciliation to men who struggle here below. May those who are "kicking the tires" of christianity come to realize that we aren't a religion, but we are involving in a vital, living relationship with the Creator of the Universe, whose Spirit lives the godly life in us by faith. May they come to know this effective and powerful presence in their lives, having been cleansed by His perfect and precious blood, and sealed in His Spirit- to the salvation of their souls. We ask in Jesus' worthy Name, Amen.
"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart!
I have overcome the world."
John 16:33
Prayer brings peace to places of conflict. There is an inner
and outer calm that comes to men and women who pray. We are
clearly told that trouble will come in this world, but we are
not suffering alone. Jesus has suffered with us and understands
our pain and sorrow. He will guide us through as He promises
never to leave us. We may not be happy during these times,
but we are assured.
Father God, I know that trouble may come my way, but I also
know that I don't need to fear because You have already overcome
the world. In Jesus name I pray for all, Amen.
Praise God for your word today Sissy! I have been through it this month but my God still watches over me and loves me!
Blessings to you all. Praying!
Gary
"Our fathers understood not Thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of
Thy mercies; but provoked Him at the sea, even at the Red sea."
Psalm 106:7
Some of us want what we want when we want it, and we really don't care whether we're being
ungrateful or not. God has showered us with blessings, and sometimes we stand defiantly
demanding more. God is willing to give us many good things, but not when we refuse to
value what we've got. Christian maturity requires that we learn to be satisfied with
what we have. It is pleasing to God when His children say, "Thank You," instead of "More."
Father, I forget how gracious and giving You have been, O Lord. Forgive my lack of
gratitude and appreciation. I have no reason to desire more. I have more than I truly
need already. Help me to use my abundance for the sake of others for their benefit and
Your glory that they would come to know You. Amen.
Be God's!
Sissy
