I don't Ted Leonsis is like that..sure he likes to make money and keep his money like all rich people do...But even in the NHL he built the Capitals slowly and through the draft..Maybe he's tanking it to get another top 5 pick...and had he not gotten ovechkin hed still be in the "building" stages
Uh, I see NHL highlights all the godamned time on Sportscenter. Too much to be frank. And that Barry Melrose guy is such a douche.you know the worst is when they put Hockey highlights in the top ten... "Ovechkin, through the crease, and sneaks it past the defender!" IT LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME TO ME EVERY TIME!!!

Every once in a while there will be something cool like a puck bouncing off someone's nose and going into the goal. but that i maybe 2 or 3 times a season.
Which calls were bad calls?About 23 of them. I say about because there were a couple that could have gone either way. The other 21, horrendous calls.
If we think NFL owners are greedy, NBA is 10x worse.

Well there was the one that allowed the Lakers to take a couple of free throws that added points to their score.
....and the evidence you supplied clearly supports that. Then why are they trying to squash the player union?
the nfl where players fake injuries just to get timeout...and Paul Pierce being carried of on a stretcher only to return a few minutes later and dominate wasn't fake? Pierce is still awesome though!
players get fined for celebrating in just about any way shape or formIt keeps them from going into the stands and attacking the customers. Professional kind of insuates some form of professionalism.
Juat about every superbowl in the last 20 years has had a refferee contraversyA bit exaggerated but after the NBA had a ref admitting to fixing things in the playoffs I'm not so sure this is the best area to debate for you. Larry Johnson is only 1 of many examples of players that entered the league with a more than suspect history of points shaving.
where the leagues says dont hit so hard yet is founded on big hitsKind of like continually laxing the palming and traveling rules?
