Cannot underestimate pride and character.  Looks like it has kicked in again for the Colts. Despite a miserable season and no post season to fight for, I sure did enjoy them compete right to the end. Thanks for fighting Colts.  Makes me want to watch the last game of the season.  Any chance we can loose the number one pick now?

the only bad call on the final drive was the hit on orlavsky. the rest were good calls , and just a side note some pfficials HAVE called that roughing the passer all season. i dont agree with it but it is what it is...one word describes this game tonite...PRIDE!!!!!...code blue when the Colts are 13-3 next year you can become a bengal fan..pls get off the soapbox already...by the way the Rams and Vikings have already drafted thier qb's of the future...yes they could trade the pick but it will lose value if they are not taking luck....imoits christmas enjoy the win...GO COLTS!!!!!!!

Hi Kappa, what a game. That's 2 in a row ! We are on a roll now. I was listening to ESPN radio today and I think it was Mike McShay that said the Falcons gave up 2 number 1's, a number 2, and 2 number 4's to move up to number 6 and Luck is the highest rated QB to come out since Elway. But it may not even matter if we beat the Jags in Jacksonville next week, we could drop to 3rd. I guess I'm going to be a Ram and Viking fan this week. But for now, I'm not going to worry about where we pick, I'm going to enjoy another COLT win. Also where did that Texan fan come from, I hope he is done crying in his beer. This is a Party. Go Colts.

well considering the Rams took bradford #1 and paid him a record 78 mill, 50mill guarenteed, with bonus's reaching 86 mil id say thats franchise money. ponder was the 12th overall pick, now whether or not they want to trow away that #1 is a different story. the money is very different from when bradford signed, so you can afford to take a swing and miss with ponder...reggie, mathis, and saterday are fa's do u pay them or letem walk. if they walk thats alot of holes to fill and id rather have picks to help restock. garcon still makes to many bone head plays to  be considered a #1 reciever and jerry hughs is unproven. gonzalez and brackett need to move on. the secondary looked better playing aggressive as did the LB's. whoever the QB of the future will be will benifit learning from manning. painter obviously never paid attention to what was going on and is just not that good. please dont compare manning to farve. if you've watched him over the years you know he's not that selfish. if he was he would own the TD and Yardage records for a season. but he allowed himself to come out of games on those years or just wouldnt throw when games were out of hand unlike bellickec/brady, and payton/ breeze

Wow! What a game! Dan Orlovsky played well enough to get the win and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole second half. Smile

I heard Bob Chappell of the Indy Star say on ESPN that Jim Irsay wants to keep Peyton Manning and also take Andrew Luck with the 1st pick and that he was willing to spend whatever it takes to make it happen. Irsay knows a lot more than he's letting on about Peyton's progress and I believe that means Peyton is progressing well. Irsay told Chappell that he paid Manning 27 million and he never played a down this season, money is not a problem.

Looks like maybe you Manning lovers will have the worst team for years to come after he retires or he gets paralyzed from a hard hit and eating through a tube till he surcomes to it like christopher Reeves, I would hate that for his twins...

We'll see heh????

Wow CCB! You paint a grim picture. What are you going to say when Peyton comes back with another stellar season next year like usual when he plays? You going to call it a fluke?

 We'll see heh????

Go Colts

Like I said he my last post, Wow, what a game. Looking around other message boards a lot of Texan fans are saying the fix was in, the league wanted the Colts to win. Sometimes you just can't win, some people ( you know which Patriot I'm talking about ) say the Colts are trying to loose and now the league wants the Colts to win. I just laugh and repeat. Wow what a game. kappa,13 , Codeblue and all other Colt fans, have a very Merry Christmas and please be safe if going places. We need all our fans safe for the holiday. As always Go COLTS !!!!

code blue....DNR.....name me 1 time in the HISTORY of the nfl the franchise player, healthy with 2-3 years left , were replaced by a guy who hasnt taken a nfl snap yet. name me 1 player. he's not a selfish player and will not pull a favre. i think he'll restructure his contract to bring back wayne, and mathis. i dont know if saterday wants to come back for another year or retire. but i would bring wayne and mathis back with 2 year deals if i could. those 2 guysdont have a history of injuries and are reletivly healthy every year.

Murphy has done a nice job getting a makeshift secondary to play alot better by being more aggressive, not sitting back in coverage on 1st and 2nd down has produced more 3rd and long. which is what they are built for.

have a good holiday everyone, even you code blue

Have a safe and wonderfully blessed holiday to all of the Colts Faithful in the greatest nation in the world! I really wasn't trying to do a PSA, but please drive safely, be considerate of others, recognize and reverence the true spirit and reason for CHRISTmas, and lift a glass to all who would've been here if not for military obligations.

God Bless Us All, Everyone!!

GO COLTS!! Cool

id also like to send a kudos out to the Giants who have almost sealed the coffin on rexy and the Jets. living 1 mile from met life, its hard to listen and see the jet fans operate among the rest of us. dont kid yourself out here they acted as if they beat a manning manned team in 09. its funny how a team that hasnt won a thing since the 1st fixed nfl game in 69..lol...act like they need a new trophy case to house all thier SB CHAMPIONSHIPS

hahahahaha nice one CCB, im reading your comment and thimking sheldon from BBT n laughing, thx.    well watching RG3 for the 1st time last nite and not impressed. i mean they put up a bunch of points and he is a great athlete.  but i really dont know if it translates to NFL success. i mean it was like watching the houston cougers play, and i think the qb's success is due more to run n shoot and compitition than ability to pass against NFL defenses. also he took a beating when running how many hits before he gets hurt.  NFL is much bigger, faster, stronger and lee majors he isnt. i dont know he could be the best athlete in the draft, but he reminds me of a monster Vick, and im not a fan of Vick. so in my mind if there's no LUCK, im on jones or moore in a later round.

RB, I was going to skip over the cacophonous rantings   Yell   of a certain bar patron for a moment, but you beat me to it.

I didn't see all of the Alamo Bowl, but I saw enough of it to know that, yes, RGIII does remind one of Michael Vick and that in of itself, is impressive. Tell me, is it Michael Vick, the man and his impetuous and negligent off the field activities that you dislike or is it Michael Vick, the athlete? From where I sit, the athlete is amazing. Although their styles are similar, that should be where the comparison ends. Vick, having paid his debt to society, is definitely flawed, but then again, who isn't.....besides CCB......

GO Colts!

with vick its more his his qb play, i mean you can win with him, i just dont think you can be consistant with him, or i should say that style. maybe its because im spoiled from whats happened in indy over the last decade. but when its going through your head, do i sit in the pocket 1 more second and let it fly or run to the left and get a 1st down. i think when you are athletic like running QB's are you will tend to take off with it more often. i think that impedes your progress to make a play late in games when you have to throw. the touch pass is also an issue with a running QB they dont seem to have enough of it. that reminds me of jeff george. everything is a direct line even deep balls, they dont get the loft needed. i dony know just my opinion.
