Lulz, going back to the meaningful lyrics conversation, I saw Paul Ryan declared his favorite band was Rage Against the Machine.
Anyone see irony in that? Anyone? Tom Morello did. He apparently doesn't think Ryan is thinking clearly. Look, it's one thing to ignore a few lyrics you don't like from a song or two, but Rage is a different animal. They hit you over the head with their politics, and it sure ain't Ryan's.
I saw that and while I agree with Morello about Ryan, Morello is just as big of an idiot. I can down to RATM, but they are just like those shows that portray as reality, but are totally scripted. Rage acts like they are all political, but when it comes down to it they are just rich guys telling people to question authority, but be sure to buy their re-release of Evil Empire that comes with all of the videos they had on MTV.This is just like Michael Moore who whines and complains about the "1%" but then sues a company for not paying him a couple extra million for one of his movies. I'm all for Moore getting paid what he ought to get paid, but don't go blasting the people who do the same.
Pretty sure that Morello drives around in a Land Rover down Rodeo (ironic) and has over $60 million. He is everything his music is against as well. Make you think that buying is rebelling, so ironic.
