so what is your point????  The rules as Hawks explained them to me is that I determine the rankings of each participant for the two categories and provide bonus points for the Top 10...then I determine who qualifies to advance to the playoffs.  Billy was #2 in terms of accuracy and like it or not he "earned" the 4.5 bonus points associated with finishing second in that category.  Is there anyone who wants to provide me a reasonable explanation as to why his legitimate performance for 12 weeks should be completely ignored?

It's like the team that finished second or third in a tough division (this season the Titans would be a great example), but don't qualify for the playoffs even though they finished the season with a better record than one of the other division winners (like the Broncos this season).  Is it "fair" in the way we would normally expect to see best teams determined...not at all, but those are the rules that everyone plays by and until next season they aren't going to change.

I'm done with this conversation. Keep crying if you want to, you hypocritical drone. You saw the rules at the start of the competition and you chose to participate. Now, deal with it. Or not, it's up to you. I could give two squirts of monkey piss about it, really. Toodle lo....

for whatevers its worth - here are my thoughts on the drawn out subject

Val - you are right, it doesnt make sense to award someone points for the final round when that person is ineligible to participate in the final round

Hawks/Fred - i understand why the rules were put in place, and the participant in question did participate for a meaningful period of time - and i also abide by the adage that these were the rules in place before we started, so we agreed to them by participating. 

Maybe we should amend the rule next year to address this issue - but not this year

A "herniated disc" is a damaged bone in your spine that bulges or breaks open, causing back pain or numbness. That doesn't sound like too much fun. But a "herniated d*ck"? That sounds significantly, terrifyingly worse.

You all will have to stand in a corner until you can get along. Especially you, Val. You can keep your hands on the wall too while your at it.

Steve Levy said the same mistake out loud when Garrison Hearst had a herniated disc.
