Good Tuesday morning...the avi is up even if it is not automatically showing...that's a blessing in disguise

Jake Peavy and Brandon Morrow both had very good outings last night (Peavy 34.5 points, Morrow 22.5 points) and all of the sudden my loss of Cliff Lee for a week doesn't look so bad.  I lead Tony by almost 50 points and our SPs are even the rest of the week.  Now if I can just overcome the sudden setback of Hunter Pence, I should have no problem securing my 3rd victory of the season.

Dunn and Morneau both outplayed E Squared at 1st this last period and have more upside... E Squared is not gonna hit .375 the rest of the season and already is starting to slow down

I didn't say that he was an automatic starter, but a player ranked right now in the Top 3 of two different positions has to be worth something to someone.

Really...based on how multiple owners attempted to use a waiver transaction to scoop him off the trash heap, I think your effort to trade him was minimal at best and your decision to release him was at the very best, premature...still the story of your life huh Dave...lol

I know you've been under a rock for quite some time, but you do realize that the draft was over a month ago right???  There are only a select few numbskulls that give one rats ass about draft ratings as the season is about to enter its 2nd month...the rest of us are evaluating actual performance.  To further prove my point, even you have scooped up a couple of players with significant value despite a draft rating over 200...Pierzynski 287 and De Aza 213.

Let's ask the knowledgeable members of the GB10 and those few that might just be passing through a very simple question...what matters more in the 2nd month of actual play?? Draft ratings from two months ago or actual performance?

Really...Votto on the "scrap heap" because he is whopping 8 points from being a Top 5 1B and the Reds didn't even play last night...please by all means keep your worthless drivel coming...lol

As for my starting SPs...I have Jake Peavy (#1), Ricky Romero (#10) Brandon Beachy (#25), and the recently accepted deal landing me Madison Bumgarner (#18) all on the first page and I'm not even mentioning Cliff Lee and Mike Minor, who will be there once they get another start.  I feel that my current SPs are going to be more than capable of keeping me in contention as long as they can remain healthy.  Just be grateful you were matched up against me last week, but don't worry...I'll exact my revenge in Week 6.

The details of the trade I just completed with Frank:

I get Madison Bumgarner and Michael Cuddyer

He gets Josh Willingham and Brandon League

From my perspective, the addition of a Top 20 SP was worth parting with my #3 RP and dropping a few points every week from my OF...now just have to hope that Jay Bruce and Hunter Pence can pick up the pace or be prepared to trade for another top OF option.

I'm not saying I would drop Jake Peavy, because I wouldn't, but he's not going to last. He will get injured.  It's just a question of when.  He certainly is dominating right now, though. 

I can see the avi just fine and it fits him well.

Jair Jurrjens losing his spot in the rotation sure gonna smart their Val.  Why do you think I dropped his ass?      

I traded for and away Cuddyer inside of two weeks. I'd rather have Willingham now that he doesn't play for Oakland.

Michael Cuddyer has been instrumental in landing me both Ricky Romero and Madison Bumgarner in the last two weeks...my first thought on the topic is BRILLIANT!!!

Now the only question remaining is who else can I trade him for???  Only time will tell...lol

Yeah, but only Bumgarner will keep that up. 

how many lap dances did you have to promise Bib Frank to get him to do that deal???  I don't see it going through..

Let me just say that I like chances of both Romero and Bumgarner maintaining their current level of performance over Willingham's chances.  From my perspective the deal was a classic sell high...we'll see over the next few weeks if I'm right.

The bet to be made would be who gets dropped first?  I have to keep Romero and Bumgarner longer than you keep Willingham...any takers?
