We may be co-sleeping for the first bit, but there will be a screen in between. Junior may wonder if mom is a banshee, but we'll be fine.

Good Hump Day Morning GB10, my last quarterly report should go out today...YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Laughing

I didn't see a single pitch of the MLB All Star game last night and instead watched WIPEOUT with my girls...we just love watching people get torn up by these contraptions...LOL

As I prepare for the stretch run of the regular season and my continuing quest for a 4th straight GB10 Baseball Championship, I find myself still looking to improve upon a very stellar roster.  With Aramis Ramirez and the soon to return from the DL Evan Longoria both eligible at 3B combined with tremendous depth at OF (Melky Cabrera, Hunter Pence, Josh Willingham, and Jay Bruce...Jose Bautista is simply not available), my hope is to package a couple of these players for either an elite SP or a power hitter with dual eligibility (preferably at 1B) so as to reduce any potential injury impact.

Since I leave for a 9 day vacation on Friday and will have limited to no access to my fantasy team, if you are looking to wheel and deal with me, it's either before Friday evening or not until two weeks from now...for some of you that may be too late.

Congrats to Tony on a great career...I'm still grateful that the team I cheered for during most of my teenage years (Oakland A's) finally won a championship in 1989 over their cross town rival San Francisco Giants and even though that World Series is likely to be more remembered for the 6.9 earthquake that struck right before Game 3, I'm glad I can say that their immense amount of talent wasn't completely wasted.

I won 4 tickets to the Jamestown Jammers for Saturday Night (not sure if i want to go)Undecided
Jammers are a minor league team affiliate of Miami Marlins...
They have a mascott thats entertaining (too funny) Bubba Grape, the Baseball Ape!!  lol...

I'm guessing that you might be the only person who competed for them...lol  That being said, young families love the minor league parks since concession prices are affordable and the team mascots are usually geared towards entertaining the kids.

Never forget that double bridge that collapsed on top of the lower level.  I was a big Will Clark fan back then, but also liked the Bash Bros.  Used to imitate Will's batting stance / waggle during whiffle ball many summers ago.  lol

Longo might be a possibility Freddy.  Is he getting healthy though?

Cool

For those of you that want Ryan Braun, who is currently ranked #1 in hitters in our league....

Better come up with something sweet for me (an ACE SP).  And that means not Kyle Lohse and Jay Bruce Freddy!!
