 I believe a larger issue is the economic effects, and thus educational consequences for past racism in America.

so tell us when blacks would ever, or have ever been favored over any group for hiring without laws requiring it ...and even when they are more qualified , white candidates still are more often than not favored....of course thats not all of the time, but it would seem likely that is the case given the tremendous disparities in unemployment figures historically...

The lowest deficit he inherited was $1.19 trillion (then with Obama's spending, it ended up at $1.4), and 2012's will end up at $1.09 trillion.  No matter how you look at it, the deficit has gone down under Obama.  Maybe not by much, but it has gone down.

First off, I do not even know what you are saying about the big budget military spending.

As for unemployment, the vast majority of that is largely economic class by region.  There are more poor blacks in the southern states.  Jobs have been hit hardest in many of these manufacturing states.  Mississippi is a state with a lot of blacks.  it is also a state with a terrible economy.  Mississippi's racist past play into the racial/economic make up of the state.  Hence, high unemployment for blacks.  This has nothing to do with some major corporation today being racist and not wanting to hire blacks. 


Pass laws all you want, it is not going to solve the problem.  The only way this goes away is with time.  The generations that lived through it have to die off.  The next generation lives more desegrated, and so on.  Time and education (on both sides) is the only way these things pass.
