With 13 draft picks, the Browns could make some noise come draft weekend...
Lets hope so.....

Irish Dawg is doing a helluva job as commish in the mock draft....Round one is just about over.   Miami is on the clock with the final pick of the first round....A pick aquired in a trade-up with the Giants.

Thought I'd give an update on the Browns....

I stuck to my guns with the first pick and took Trent Richardson at #4.....At pick #22, I really wanted Kendall Wright, but he went off the board around #14.....So I took Nick Perry (DE- USC)  to bolster the pass rush....It was a BPA moment.  didn't want to reach for a WR or OT at that spot...Keep in mind, Ryan Tannehill was still on the board, and a lot of owners were surprised when Cleveland didn't take him....

I noticed Miami had put themselves in a great spot to get Tannehill at the end of the first round, and you guys know me....I just wasn't going to let that happen....The Denver owner started shopping the #28 pick for a 2nd, 4th and 6th rounder.  I really wanted to make a move, and I had the ammo to do it.   so I ended up working out a deal that gave him our #37pick, our late 4th rounder (pick #118) that we got in the Atlanta trade last year, and a 7th rounder....We still have our regular 4th rounder, and we still have multiple 7th round picks, and hopefully, we have a fine young QB prospect in Ryan Tannehill at #28....

So the Browns have;

Trent Richardson, Nick Perry and Ryan Tannehill.......

Next Cleveland pick is at top of the 3rd round, #67.....

So that's where I'm at folks.....Personally, I don't think it could have gone much better.

Most of the feedback I've recieved has been quite positive....

and before anybody says it;  Yes.  I'm aware we still need help at WR and OT....lol!     I still got lots of picks....I'm working on it.

That's an awesome draft Irish....I can't believe either of those 4th rounders were there, let alone KW at #22....

This is really fun....What really makes it great is how serious everybody is taking it..It's serious business.....That's a credit to you my friend.   Running the draft with all the strict rules and exact specifics of the real NFL draft is cool....It wouldn't be possible without your exceptional skills as league commish.....

btw; you were right.  That was a mad scramble at #22....Picks were flying off my big board right and left.  I felt the pressure mounting...lol!
